Basically:
The only reason I go out of my way to talk to people, at all, is because I know I probably should. For example, if I blow someone off, I only say sorry because it’s “the right thing to do”, not because I actually care. Because I don’t.
I could seriously go a whole day without talking to anyone and not care. There is obviously something wrong with me.
